Anne-LIse, I think you are torturing him….;) but it’s nothing compared to what you have to go through!!!  I don’t think last minute icing will help the quality and with IVF you don’t need a large quantity of sperm to get fertilization of the eggs.   Good luck on your IVF! Karen

dear friends I read a post not so long ago about someone who increased his sperm volume/quality on the day of sperm collection for IVF by, well, cooling his testicles with ice cubes (I must admit I have trouble picturing anyone doing that while… collecting, but hey, someone did it and it worked…) Could anyone please tell me if it was my imagination (I eat, sleep, drink and basically live for, by and through this newsgroup…) or if it actually worked? I’m afraid dh thinks I just want to make things harder for him to get back at him for not having to give himself injections everyday so I need written proof Thanks all and best of luck!
