3 Weeks Since LH Surge
Question:
Hello, Last month was my first month on Clomid. I had PMS (swollen, painful breasts, nipples and belly) for two weeks before AF arrived. AF came exactly three weeks after the LH surge was detected. This month, today is exactly three weeks since the OPK predicted an LH Surge, and I have absolutely no PMS symptoms at all (except hot flashes, but that’s from the Clomid I’m told). Instead of breaking out, my skin seems to be clearing up. I find that odd. I did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. So, I continue to wait. I am a patient of one of the premier infertility groups, plus they specialize in PCO (Dr. Lobo, NYC). They told me it is virtually impossible to get a positive LH and not ovulate, but I have read differently on the newsgroups. They said I should wait another week and see what happens….that AF might just be late, or I am pregnant, and it’s just too soon to be detected by a test. Has this happened to anyone else, and what were the results? Wendy. "The waiting is the hardest part" Tom Petty Before you buy.

I agree with Debbie on this one. It is also according to the clinic nurse possible to get a positive and have an egg of poor quality which makes the ovulation almost useless at times. Good luck. Jennifer 1 pregnancy (no meds) 2 Angels 3 cycles of clomid Now…?
