average cost for a injectable cycle?

Question:

My injectable cycles are approximately $1300 for meds(20  vials of Follistim). I just started my second cycle.  The first cycle I only used 14 vials, so I had some left over for this cycle. My RE charges are as follows: 1 Progesterone Level=$63 1 BHCG Level=$71 1 Insemination=$190 Total $1462 That is an approximate cost.  My first cycle I used 5 ultrasounds, but did not need the BHCG level.  So as you can see it just depends.   Good luck. Shelley, Here is a breakdown of what I paid: sperm washing/IUI:  $245 each blood draw:  $50 (at least 2 per cycle) each ultrasound:  $65 (at least 2 per cycle) "case management" : $200 per cycle Meds:  $500 per cycle (I bought them from the ng, and it will depend how much you need). Of course each clinic is different, but I hope this gives you some idea. Ellen 3 yrs. secondary IF m/c April ‘97 5 clomid, 1 w/ IUI 3 Follistim/IUI IVF in July/Aug.
