Drs. in Seattle
Question:
Does anyone have any referrals for any humane doctors in Seattle (ob/gyn – endocrinologists) who are aware of latest research on PCO? Thank you in advance. Best — Ellis Amdur EdgeWork eam…@halcyon.com http://www.enso-company.com/edgework.html
Response:
I have seen Dr Lori Marshall. She is a Reproductive Endocrinologist at Virginia Mason. She knows what she is doing I’m sure, but didnt particularly care for her. I ended up waiting 2 and a half hours to see her she was doing an IVF that dayand never even apologized for the ong wait. That trip was 500.00! She was cold and aloof and didnt explain things to me at all. I had blood drawn and she gave me a script for Rezulin and told me not to fill it until the blood work came back. I never took the Rezulin because my health insurance refused to pay for it. I was in the middle of adopting a newborn baby and 100.oo plus a month was too much for me at that time. My regular doctor is a diabetes & Insulin Resistancy specialist and I asked him to take me on as a special project and he said he would and it doing his homework and conferring with Dr Marshall but I wont go back to her. She does have other collegues in her office though. I would consider seeing one of them. good Luck
