period/pergnancy
Question:
I was just wondering if anyone else was sick to death of the period/ pregnancy merry-go-round each month (or every 5,6,7 weeks)? I’ve lost weight and I’m finally getting my period every 6 weeks fairly regulary. It seems as though I’m ovulating and then at about week four or five I get all the priod symptoms but or course they are also pregnancy symptoms. I really try not to let myself think that way but I get to week five or six and it hasn’t come so I do a preg test and of course I’m neg. I just get SO sick of it and all the stupid symptoms and sore tummy’s and tender ovaries and headaches and mood swings and heavy peiods and plain old discomfort. Anyway, I’ve had my winge and now I feel much better – thanks! Kellie.

Dear Cindy, Thank you SO much for replying!!! It’s been 7 weeks since my last period – guess what, yes neg preg test. My temperatures are all over the place and I’m getting so many bloody symptoms of pre and/or period. Anyway, good luck to you. Maybe next time we speak we’ll both have our period or maybe (doubtfully) both be preg. Kellie.

Dear Cindy, I haven’t got mine yet either and I know what you mean about the symptoms driving you crazy. On Thurs it will be 8 weeks since my last period. I keep geeting pains and sore breast etc and thinking "here it is" then it all goes away for a day and nothing happens!!! It’s bloody annoying and frustrating. I’m not currently under any care by a ob/gyn/RE or on clomid or anything anymore as I split up with my husband last year. Now I’ve got a wonderful new partner but I don’t know if I’m quite ready for the merry-go-round to begin again. Unfortunately when your period never comes but you have all kinds of symptoms it just starts of its own accord. If your mom had PCO and still bore you that must give you great comfort. Day 1,000,456 – still no period. I will be starting injections next week. You get yours yet? still waiting

Dear Cindy, Three preg tests later my period arrives. Never mind, could possibly mean I’m ovulating – who knows. Good luck for you. What injections are you starting? Isn’t it all a big pain in the ass?! My partner and i are talking about GIFT & IVF as he has a VERY low sperm count and clomid etc is pretty useless and with both our probs combined I doubt it will happen naturally.
