Question:
Hi does diet coke count for your daily water intake? Thanks
Response:
<<Hi does diet coke count for your daily water intake? Thanks NO! Diet coke (particularly with caffiene) may actually take away water from the body. Please read the book "Your body’s many cries for water" for deeper understanding. <html<P ALIGN=CENTERCathy (to email, delete edyclub) <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Cottage/8060/index.html"My Web </A <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Cottage/8060/PCOS.html"PCO page </a</P</html

Is Perrier OK to drink in lieu of tap water? Wanda
Response:
Yes, it is carb free. You do have to watch water as many flavored waters have as much sugar and carbs and soda.

I found a product, containing electrolytes, that you can add to water. It’s called Electro Mix, put out by Alacer, and according to the instructions it makes any water into "sports water". It’s lime flavored, very slight, and has calcium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, & chromium. the cost was less than $3. and it makes 5 gallons. It’s calorie free, sugar free and Sodium free. I found it in a health food store. HTH Jo NJ

I hate to report that this month, while I have been lowcarbing at induction levels, my scale went up 2-3 pounds. That has really been bugging me, but I’ve just kept plugging away, knowing that it was only temporary. Well today while driving to pick up my son from football practice, a light went off. Water that’s it. The last half of December I didn’t get my water, I was substituting Diet soda’s instead. Duh, this month my body has been rehydrating itself. Does this make any sense to you? I sure hope so, cause I can’t figure out any other reason. I’ve analyzed and reanalyzed my menus and even plugged a few days of eating into fitday and everything checked out. Ok I’m happy now. — Sheila Started Atkins 12/27/99 180/145/140 5′6" no I’m not changing my sig, gain is temporary icq 6779479 http://people.atl.mediaone.net/bigt1/turkey.html
