My goodness, here I am waiting for the Canuck to come back on line and I’m answering questions left right and centre.  I was on bromocriptine years ago.  I tried it and with moderate success in the 80’s.  I had galactorrhoea with PCOS, so it reasonable to try it.  I can’t say I had huge success with it – we didn’t have the Glucophage options "way back then" and they didn’t know about the insulin resistance.  I did stay on it for a few years as it was my only option – that and spironolactone. The side effects are not wonderful!!  I’d bet the REs today would be reluctant to RX it unless there were other indications to use the drug. Carone

The newer drug – Cabergoline – was studied in Italy and was published in the early 1999 Fertility and Sterility articles. I’m not sure if any were done since then. Supposedly it worked well for PCOS. Victoria "SR5242" <sr5…@aol.com> wrote in message
