Low HCG levels(small vent)
Question:
Hi everyone! On Friday, DH took me to get my 10day HCG. The level was only 9, so I’m going back tomorrow(Tues. 9/7) to see if it has increased. The nurse said that they like to see levels around 10 or above, so I may be having a "chemical pg" whatever that is. I feel nauseated a lot and hate to smell coffee(and I LOVE coffee) I also get up to go to the bathroom 2 or 3 times a night. Any feedback? I’m really nervous about the results. I keep thinking positive thoughts and am trying to "own my pg" per my secretary at works advice. Stay tuned Fern 1 son with clomid/IUI (5 yrs) many failed IUIs with fertinex cancelled IVF cycle last yr. just finished IVF cycle and hoping for the best

Fern, My Dr. has told me that they like to see it above a 5 and doubling every 2-3days! I wish you the best and seems to me your symptoms are going according……. Ellen PCOS 1 ~i~ 3/99

Everyone is different, but so many women really expect to feel nausea long before the real thing is ready to hit. Most women will not experience nausea before thier HCG levels reach at least 5,000. I hate to sound so cynical, but feeling nauseated 10 or 12 days after conception is wishful thinking, and nerves most of the time. Occasionally it turns out to be "the real thing" and you may very well be having a normal (not chemical) pregnancy, I can’t say, but the nausea is really nothing to base anything on yet. If we all had a dime for every time someone thought they were pregnant because they felt queasy or threw up……LOL. Anyway, my feelings go out to you, because I know what it’s like to want something so bad. I hope it has happened for you-just don’t place any stock in that nausea though.

Ive had three of them in the last 4 years,,,, it means, " Detectable By Chemical Means Only".. in other words by hpt or blood, but doesnt implant properly, no sac, nothing seen via U/S…. ( I call them a very, very, very early m/c ) If this is happening, I am very sorry,,,, BUT,,, I get the nausea very early too, like 5 weeks, ( 3 actual weeks pg) ,,, ~ Debbie ~ 2 FAILED DIUI’s ( o /) ( o /) ( o /) ( o /) ( o /) ( o /) /_ /_ /_ /_ /_ /_ 1986 1989 1990 1994 1998 1999 Six Too Many Angels From Me
