Pituitary Tumor vs. PCO?

Question:

I recently learned that a pituitary tumar can have very similar symptoms to PCO.  Does anyone know more about this?

I initially feared I had a pituitary tumor, but it was PCOS.  I *think* with pituitary tumors, prolactin is usually considerably elevated.  Altho lack of periods and hirsuitism may be common to both,  I don’t know if the ovaries would be globular and enlarged with a pituitary tumor, the way they would be with PCOS.  I am only speculating.  Would love it if someone could tell us more (or correct my errors in understanding, if any).
