Know a good Doctor for PCOS diagnosis/treatment in Newport News, VA??

Question:

Hi there, I used to live in Virginia Beach, but went to a WONDERFUL doctor in Norfolk, after 15 years of problems he was the first to diagnose me with PCOS and put me on to the right track.  He’s Dr. Wilkes, I believe they have an office in Portsmouth, Norfolk as well as across the water, but if they don’t he’s well worth the drive across the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.  (Monitor Merrimac will take you way out of the way to his office) Let me know how it goes….oh yes his group is Tidewater Physicians for Women….757-461-3890 Good Luck.

Response:

The Jones Institute in Norfolk, VA is one of the best fertility clinics in the U.S.  I would recommend it to anyone.  They are connected with the Eastern Va Medical School.  They are on "the cutting edge" of new technology.  They were the first fertility clinic in the US to have a successful IVF baby.  I live in NC and am going to them.  I had an unsuccessful IVF in May, but it is not due to the Jones Institute’s lack of knowledge or technology – I am 42 years old and my chance of success is greatly diminished.  We are staying with the Jones Institute and will be transferring 5 frozen embryos from my May IVF cycle in July. If you would like more information on the Jones Institute, please feel free to jonesinstitute.org. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of the doctors within the Tidewater area of Newport News, VA in regards to PCOS diagnosis and/or treatment.
