36 day cycle
Question:
There is not really a "normal range"….but if there is one I would say about 28-35 days so you are pretty much within normal range. (this is what the IF nurse said to me today) I am a 30 day person myself sometimes 32, it depends I think mainly due to the fact that I was so irregular before being on metformin. You probably ovulate 14 days before your period shows so that would be around day 24 or so. It is probably just your cycle length so I wouldn’t be too concerned….. Take care debbie~ shelley

Every woman’s cycle may differ. I think I’ve heard before that anywhere between 21-40 days is *normal*. I’ve been on Rezulin for some time and mine are 35 days apart. I’m not tc right now so I can’t help you on the ovulation part. Shannon L. > I’ve been taking glucaphage since the middle of January and haven’t had any > weight loss but have had 2 periods. That’s within the normal range. Are you charting your basal body temp? Your Fertility Signals : Using Them to Achieve or Avoid Pregnancy Naturally ~ by Merryl Winstein provides excellent guidance on this. It’s 11.16 +shipping from Amazon.com (not affiliated, don’t get anything for the recommendation, just have found the book very helpful… I found it via the recommendation of someone in this ng last year). I’ve been taking glucaphage since the middle of January and haven’t had any weight loss but have had 2 periods. I had a period on New Year’s Day (naturally) which was the first since June and since starting the glucaphage I’ve have had 2 more, equalling 3 in 3 months! Amazing to me. However, they have been 36 and 37 days apart respectively. Is there a ”normal” length for a cycle? I figure since they have been nearly the same length that it just must be my cycle. I am ttc and am wondering if anyone else has successfully figured out their dates of ovulation with such a long cycle. Thanks for your help. Debbie Secondary IF – TTC 2 yrs. PCOS
