Hi Deb, I have to call my Dr. yet to go for my Rhogam shot (Rh factor), and I will ask for another beta, probably next week.  My bleeding has totally stopped, which makes me think the bulk of the m/c happened last week when I thought I had my AF.  I doubt it was a twin because my number, even at 373, was low for as many dpo as I was.  Has anyone’s number ever gone back up after a drop like that? Ellen 3 yrs. secondary IF 4 failed IUI’s IVF in Aug. ‘99

Response:

Praying that you will find the added strength needed to make it through this difficult time. Take one day at a time. Cry when you want to cry and be extra good to yourself!!!!!! Cyndie

Response:

Ellen I am very sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts. Kristin 2 ~j~’s(2/98;4/99) PCO&LPD

Response:

Don’t give up yet.  It could have been twins and you lost one.

This is possible. I lost one twin to mc and was still pg with the second baby. Hope things start to look up!

Response:

Has anyone’s number ever gone back up after a drop like that?

Mine did. I was still pg with the second baby. I lost that baby too but for totally different reasons. The baby was malformed and was not compatible with life. There is still hope.

Response:

Ellen:      I am so sorry.  I know the pain….I had a m/c in Oct.  I thought the same thing…much better if it didn’t happen.  I hope with all my heart that  your IVF works.  Take care, and take it easy on yourself. Nanci secondary IF 1 ectopic 1 m/c

Response:

Ellen,    I’m so sorry about your m/c. I understand exactly what you mean about wishing an unsuccessful pregnancy had never happened. It’s a strange feeling.    Take care of yourself for now, so you can start your IVF with hope and peace.   Lori

Response:

Hey,Ellen                  This news just blew me away-I feel so bad about your disappointment. Of,course,I am hoping for a HUGE turn-a-round,a miracle, for you guys, and your baby. I know you will keep us posted-and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.              XOXO LINDA

Response:

Well, I didn’t even tell you guys I was pg, but I was.  Got pg on our own as we are preparing for our first IVF, only to get my second beta back today which was 181, down from 373 on Monday.  I wish this didn’t even happen.  What good is it to get pg if I can’t stay pg?  And no, it is *not* encouraging that I got pg on my own, although some people think it should be.  It’s not.  Just wanted to keep everyone updated…we are still hoping to do IVF as soon as possible. Ellen, I understand exactly how you are feeling as I myself just went through it all 2 months ago.  Its devastating and there are no words of comfort someone can give you to console or "make it all better".  I wish you well! Ellen PCOS 1 ~i~ 3/99

Response:

Ellen,  Don’t give up yet.  It could have been twins and you lost one.  Please keep us posted!  I know how you feel about wishing it hadn’t happened in the first place.  I was prepared for our IVF to fail, but not for the m/c when we succeded.  I would have rather the IVF had not taken.  You are in my thoughts.  Rea  6 ^i^’s
