We get that rural delivery. I wouldn’t trade this place for anything. When it gets on my nerves I find some excuse to go to Oklahoma City. There are always things up there that they need parents who are NOT afraid to talk. I think you get a certain age you don’t care what people think. lol. Amylee.

Hi, I saw some info about this stuff on the ADA (diabetes assoc.) web site and thought it might be the same stuff I took before I got pregnant, before I’d been diagnosed with PCOS. So I bought some and take it too before meals and have been loosing more weight. It has chromimum in it too, the one I get does at least. I have been getting Natrol Citrimax Plus. curious if anyone else has tried this or knows anything about it. I take Metformin too. It is interesting that I took this stuff before diagnosed ended up loosing aobut 35 pounds and my periods came back (after a year without) and then I got pregnant…during pregnancy found out I had gestational diabetes and the PCOS diagnosis started getting talked about then.
Response:

Me too and I just got here. Again. My modem went out for awhile which is scary. I live in a town so little we don’t even have our own post office. Best thing for the kid and grand kids. No one knows about pcos here and my friends think that I am dying. So it is nice to talk to other people with it and to talk about other things also. Amylee, the other geezer.

I found that too, you feel alone when diagnosed. I am finding the worst part of this is losing weight. I couldn’t care less if I never had another period (YIPPEE lol!) but I hate being so fat. Its hard having people tell you what is right and wrong. I got someone telling me to walk more and try to get fit today at work. It hurts because they don’t know how hard it is. I like knowing people here understand. Demon. "Amylee" <mamapengui…@prodigy.net> wrote in message

That is what is so great about these groups. I don’t have the option of going to a support group cause if they had one it would just be too far away. Amylee.

Wow! No post office! It probably IS a good thing!! LOL! Ours is so worthless, we may as well NOT have one! My friends here don’t understand PCOS either. They just think I’m getting fat. Demon is my only friend I talk to about it, and I was happy to find her in here
I’m glad you’re not quiet!! ;-) Maybe us geezers just like to talk, huh? hahahaha Bug On Tue, 04 Jun 2002 04:17:07 GMT, "Amylee" <mamapengui…@prodigy.net> wrote: – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->"Bug" <dontlikes…@all.com> wrote in message >news:gb3ofug5ti4m9o552ktk5cqieg8672g6rb@4ax.com… >> Cool! >> It will never be quiet as long as my big yap is in here!!! Perhaps you need to start carrying my baseball bat to work, Demon! I understand how you feel. They do everything but hand you the damn treadmill!! They have ALL the answers, when in fact, they haven’t a clue. It really destroys your self-esteem. I understand!! I’m here!! Keep talking so you don’t have to carry it around with you.
