Bald spots????
Question:
Hi, I lurked a bit at the beginning of the year and did get into see a good RE. I went through the clomid and the follistim injections with no success. The cost was too great for me, as my ins. was not helping at all. On to my question. I discovered a bald spot at the base of my hairline, yesterday. Has anyone else experienced this, due to PCO. I have so many other symptoms and have done a lot of research, but I’ve never heard of anyone mentioning bald spots (I know that some women are experiencing balding, but not complete bald spots about the size of a quarter). I’ll be contacting my dr on Monday, but it’s driving me crazy now!!! If anyone has any info feel free to e-mail me. Thanks, Adrienne adrienn…@aol.com

I don’t want to frighten you, but I had somethin like that. It started with a spot, next more spots, and than complete baldness. It turned out to be a thyroid problem. They gave me thyroid drugs, and some special supplements. I don’t remember all the drugs, but it took 3 months to get my hair back. Please keep an eye on it, and visit your doctor. — Katharina dav…@german-usa.com 35/5.9/C0-nt/met2550 262(March 15,99)/232

My mom had some spots like that a few years ago and her hair dresser told her to get her thyroid checked, they must see it quite a bit. My problem is baby-fine, thin hair. It has always been that way and seems worse lately. I used to perm it, but am so afraid of the damage breaking away hair. My hair was dry when permed, seems oily and limp now. I feel like I need a makeover bad. ^–^ { ‘.’}cathy-to send e-mail, delete edyclub ` My web page: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Cottage/8060/index.html Hope for Cysters: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Cottage/8060/PCOS.html
