bbt ?

Question:

Hey ladies,     I am on cd10 with clomid 5-9 and my temps have jumped and my lower back is hurting?  Any ideas?  I am not suppose to use OPK until cd12 (Monday).  I feel like taking two tynelol and going back to bed.  We are planning BMS starting tonight to cover all "areas" :)  Here are my temps : cd1-cd3 missed cd 4       97.8 cd 5       97.3                100mg of clomid                                        taken at the same time in the morning (temps & clomid)      6       97.3      7       97.3      8       97.5      9       97.4    10       98.4  ? This is the first time I am charting my temps & OPK.  The last dr said it was unnecessary for either.  I have switched doctors YA!  This one wants me to do both. thanks for listening, Cindy in Colorado PCOS ttc almost 7years 1st cycle of clomid this year 3 cycles of clomid in 1998 cd10

Response:

Hi Cindy I’m on Clomid too (100mg for me too!).  I don’t take my temp — too much stress for me!  But I do OPKs.  I get some pain in my low back and discomfort in my ovaries a few days before my color change with each cycle on Clomid (this is number 3).  I read on this ng that the discomfort is probably the follicles growing.  My u/s is fine, so I’m assuming that that is all is was last cycle! I hope so for you too! I’m not sure what BMS is — but if it’s the every-other-day sex thing — that’s what dh and I do too (cycle day 10 – 18).  Good luck!! take care & fertile thoughts!
