Beta improving, but still not great (pg ment)

Question:

I hope the best for you.  I just got my first computer today and am very comforted to see that there are others out there going through what I am.  I was in a similar situation until yesterday.  I’ve been trying to conceive for 2 years and after my 3rd IUI cycle I did.  My beta level was initially going up, doubling every 48 hrs like it was supposed to, but my progesterone level was very low.  I took prog. supplements for about a week and it helped but then my beta quit going up.  Yesterday I had to quit the progesterone supplement and have now been waiting for whatever will happen to happen.  Hopefully you will have more luck.  I’m hoping and praying that next time it will happen for us. * Sent from AltaVista http://www.altavista.com Where you can also find related Web Pages, Images, Audios, Videos, News, and Shopping.  Smart is Beautiful

NOOOO – not preachy at all.  I have PCOS and I was once pg (last April) and had a m/c….apparently due to high LH levels :( Anyway – you are right! You have no control over it and in a way it IS in God’s hands (or whoever you tend to beleive in!) I wish you the best of luck!! Hugs** Beth – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hi all!     Thanks so much for always caring.  Well I got a 3rd beta today – it was up (which is good) but only to 71 (which the clinic said should have been in 120’s).  Did not even double in 3 days.  But I have decided that I am not going to get overly stressed – it’s in God’s hands.  I know he has a plan for me and my family that will show itself in time (sorry – didn’t mean to get too preachy :) ).     The most I did was convince the clinic where I get my monitoring to expedite my test and call me with the number before they fax it to VA. Which they very nicely did.  I figure it’s better but we’re not out of the woods, yet.  Next beta will most likely be Monday.     I comfort myself with the following truisms: – this IF crap isn’t nearly as much of a science as the Drs would like us to believe – If I were pg without IF, I would not be stressing about every little hiccup and millionth of a particle of whatever in my bloodstream – yet my pg will still be what it will be.     I still feel really pg – no spotting or anything.  Some mild cramping (very mild).  And my tummy feels a little poochy – but that may just be the comfort food :) I will keep you all posted and I thank you for your continued love, support and prayers! Hi, angela in tampa, Hope I don’t sound like an idiot when I ask Tampa, Florida? I live in Tampa and I’m in search of a good specialist. I just had a lap in early december, my tubes are blocked.  I’ve already seen one but I am unsure of his recommendation(more surgery). I’m 31 and I thought my only choice was IVF.(If I do go with IVF it would be great to be able to speak to someone going through the same thing. I have so many questions and fears, I don’t know if you felt or still feel the same way.) If you can recommend anyone that would be great. Also hope that things go well for you. God Bless. Thanks, Lisa or feel free to call 813-889-9117
