Yes, I was on Metformin before and it was working for me (even old doc said) but she took me off of it after 2 months because she said it hadn’t brought AF on. I was not pleased with her but since she didn’t know about PCOS too much, she referred me to the doc I have now and wanted me to be *a fresh body*. That is what she told my doc now anyway. I have not tried the cream yet I will suggest that to my doc tomorrow when I go in for more bloodwork. This is not all new to me, I have been going through this for 2 years (almost) so all of the tests they are taking are the correct tests. I feel I have had so much blood taken from me I should be empty (joking of course). The tests I am taking tomorrow are follow up, they want them all again. No problem here for me of course. I want to see an update. I myself thought that was too much medication but they are just trying to get AF started right now. The two rounds of Provera and the estrogen is just for that. I will stay on Met, it is not just a one time thing for me (yeah) like the other doctor thought it should be. I have several docs working on me now. I don’t look forward to the nastiness that Provera is going to give me. That is the one thing I don’t like about this plan. I almost cried when he told me two rounds of it. To me it sounds like too much medication. I would not be allowing so much, especially at one time. But that’s my opinion. You said you where on Metformin before. How did it work? Where you on it alone? What kind of bloodwork have you had? And what are the results? Personally if the dr. has not taken the right tests (you need constant monitoring, especially when your on metformin) he could be trying anything hoping something will work.
