FAQ's

Question:

Again, thank you Dr. Reid.

And thank you, Guy … however, please not that I am not a doctor, either PhD or MD or otherwise. Although this doesn’t really make any difference in terms of the contents of the FAQ, in the long run it’s better to avoid claiming credentials which one does not have — especially on medical topics. Someone else mentioned not seeing the FAQ in the newsgroup. For anyone who doesn’t see the FAQ (seven large postings) in the newsgroup when it’s posted (every two weeks), your ISP is probably blocking large or cross-posted articles in an attempt to stop spam. They should exempt articles cross-posted to news.answers. Check with your ISP if you don’t receive the FAQ. And as someone else posted, you can always find it at http://www.faqs.org/faqs/diabetes/. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – From Guy Williams                         The FAQ’s are posted today. I would suggest that new people either save them or print them.   I still keep a copy in my files for showing new people in my personal contacts.  It will be useful to develop a base of knowledge about diabetes. Again, thank you Dr. Reid.
