Well, keep on trying the herbs, the anti-androgens, etc… BUT, in the meantime, learn how to wax, wax, wax that hair away! It lasts longer than shaving, and tends to grow back softer. E-mail me if you want some specifics. Sara

Hi, I am new to these boards, and am so enthralled to have found them. It is a lot of information to take in at once, and I am trying to find a method of controlling of getting rid of the hair growth. If there is any advise that anyone could share with me I would be so apprecitive. Please help, this condition has taken over my life.

I just started taking Saw Palmetto extract (not the berries), I heard the extract is what you need to take. But since I just started, I dont have any more good news about it to tell you

Give herbal remedies 6 mths to see any change.. I took SP 160mg TID and I saw a slightly longer regrowth time on the few facial hairs I deal with. I was taking more for the anti androgen qualities that I thought would help me with the acne..which it didnt. Spironolactone does a much better job for me in that dept. I have started taking the Sawpimento also – waiting for results. I have the hirsuitism problem big time!!! If I didn’t shave every day I would grow a beard faster than the hairest of men.
