Help! I think my mind is playing tricks on me!
Question:
Does anybody ever recall reading or hearing that the appearance of the cervix and the tissue around it are a different color during pg? I had and HSG this cycle and am 13 dpo. I went to my RE yesterday for my annual exam and pap, and she made some off-handed comments that made me think that maybe she could tell from the exam that I am pg, but she didn’t want to rob me of the excitement of FINALLY seeing the HPT turn positive, so she didn’t come right out and tell me. Could this be possible, or is it just another of the crazy tricks my mind seems to play on me all the time? –Shari in Houston
Response:
Yep, I read that everthing down there turns color… just a different shade of pink or red though (depending on your ethnicity). What is your background. This may seem like a silly question, but if you’re anything but pale faced… your doctor may be unfamiliar with what color you should be down there. We are all made different after all.
