How much can BBT's change?
Question:
Although temps can be affected by ambiant temperature, I think probably you ran a mild fever during your yeast infection and/or weren’t sleeping well due to the heat. Your very low temps indicate that you haven’t ovulated — air conditioning really wouldn’t send them that low. My guess is that you are ovulating today or will in the next couple of days. And yes, PCOS makes charting mucus hard because we always have something that looks promising. You need to learn how to tell if it’s more promising than other promising days:-)! I still can’t really tell. Good luck! naomi — Naomi Zikmund-Fisher Fort Pitt Elementary Learning Support Teacher Pittsburgh, PA "Please be careful with me. Response:
I have been experiencing some strange BBT’s this month that I can only explain as being directly atmospheric temperature related. Has anyone experienced the same? I take my temps the same time everyday including weekends so that its as constant as possible, but this past weekend was extremely hot and on top of it I had a yeast infection and so my temps rose from 97.3 to 98.0. I don’t know if I ovulated cause I didn’t use the LH predictor kit since I was having the yeast infection and then the last few days my temps have come back to 97.3 then 97.0, 96.7 and today they are down to 96.5. We’ve had to use the air conditioner and I’ve woken up several times uncovered and cold. Can this be why my temps are so low? I’m on day 20 of my cycle, and think I missed ovulation this month since intercourse was very paionful last night, and yet this morning it appears as if I have egg-white mucous. I do have PCO but would that explain the very low temps and egg-whiote mucous? Anyway just throwing the question out there.
