Metforim and clomide (loss ment)

Question:

Hi all. April 7th I lost my daughter, Marisa, at 22 weeks into my pregnancy due to Incompetent cervix.  We are now trying again.  Clomide worked for me with her right off the bat.  Its not going to be so easy this time, I can tell already!  First round of clomide at 50 mg did nothing to me.  So doc has me again on Provera to induce my cycle, then 50 mg of clomide and then added metforim 3X daily for a total of 1500 mg’s.  I’ve heard that it is easier on you if you start at a lower dose and then work up to the high dose.  So I am starting today at 2 daily, next week I will go 3 X daily.  Im really nervous about taking metforim as I dont know any of the side effects except the tummy problems!  Does anyone have any info or advise and/ or positive stories on getting pg using met.  Doc will take me off of it if pg is suspected immediatly.  Thank you. Love, Tonya
