Onset of PCOS: any info?
Question:
Is anyone aware of any current news or findings on the onset of PCOS or the effects of PCOS during puberty? I’ve only found 2 articles, and both are from the year 2000: PCOS in Pediatrics: When and How Does it Start? (http://www.inciid.org/pcos/PCOS-pediatrics.html) What Happens During Puberty: PCOS and the Hypothalamus (http://www.inciid.org/pcos/PCOS-Hypothalmus.html) As my daughter enters her teen years I am more and more wanting to know what to do to help her avoid or minimize the effects of PCOS. If you know of anything out there, online or in print, please send me a pointer. — —->Sagittaria<—- I am a .sig virus. Please put me in your .sig so I can continue to replicate.

Might be some on Medline. I know myself or Pat posted some to one of the newsgroups. Might be some on her website too. Victoria "Sagittaria" <sagitta…@softhome.net> wrote in message

I, too, am concerned about my young daughter. I tried to use the links, but they didn’t work. Does anyone have the articles that wouldn’t mind copying and sending them to me? Thanks!!! Maureen

Try copying the links without the parenthesis. Sometimes if you just click, it includes characters that are next to the URL. — —->Sagittaria<—- I am a .sig virus. Please put me in your .sig so I can continue to replicate.
