pain after iui

I was in pain for a day as well. I felt like my ovaries were going toexplode. Good luck Suz

The pain is around my uterus and ovaries(it feels like its bruised) I didn’t have any pain with the others and was just curious if anyones else has experienced this. The only thing different about this cycle is that i was on clomid 100mg instead of 50 mg. and when they did the ultrasound before the iui they said i had already ovulated probably sometime in the middle of the night before my iui at 10:00am. so i’m figuring this cycle is a bust anyway. I’m experiencing the same kind of pain. My IUI was on Saturday and although the proceedure didn’t hurt a bit I have been in pain since that time. My ovaries feel swollen and when I go to get up out of the chair I feel sharp pains. I know I didn’t hyperstimulate. I only had one follicle (20mm – E2 was 323). I guess I could read a million different things into this but I’m trying hard not to think about. Here’s to +++ HPTs for everyone!! (If it were only that simple). . . .SIGH!! hi angie, yes, after my iui, i had a lot of pain. i had to lay in bed for many hours afterwards. i was on 150mg of clomid. i also had the same pain you are describing. i dont know what caused it–i am just glad it went away. take care and goodluck. love jolinda

Hi there! Another "after IUI pain’er" here! I have pain for about 4 days after the IUI’s, I feel bruised too, and bloated with pelvic floor pain… the RE said its just because of the ‘foreign’ things they do in there!
