Please help in finding a guru in PCOS in northern Virginia – DESPERATE!
Question:
I have been untreated (though not really undiagnosed) for this for 15 years and am at the end of my rope – I cannot find a doctor who is knowledgeable in this as well as all the other complex problems it can cause – heart, blood preassure and so many others. I also have almost NO estrogen or progesterone in my body. I just turned 38. I have about given up finding someone, but maybe one of you out there have found a good MD in my area and can give me one last chance at hope – I am in the Fairfax/Reston/Leesburg area. Can anyone help? What makes it even harder is that I have also suffered from Agoraphobia and Panic Disorder which makes it extremely hard to handle making it to the MD only to find out they do not know what to do and cannot help me, which puts all my efforts to waste. Can anyone help? >> Geography isn’t my strong point, but I know that Dr.Legro is quite a PCO-guru…located at UPenn/Hershey Medical Center in PA. Might be too far for you??
