I don’t think this roller coaster will ever end! This morning, I went in and had the blood test, but had to wait until 11:00 to get the results. About the time the results were supposed to be ready, I started to bleed. Spotting at first, but then a noticable amount of blood. My DH and I sped to my lab on the way to the doctor’s office to see what was going on. My Beta score on the pg test was 354, which is WAY past what the "minimum" requirement of 4 for a positive. (Does that seem a little to high at this point to anyone else??? What does that mean?) My Dr. poked around for a little while, did a sonogram, and said that the bleeding had stopped, I have quite a bit of fluid in my abdomen, and still have some HUGE follicles on my already swollen ovaries. He has be on bed rest now for the next several days, just to make sure that I don’t "rupture anything". I have another pg test scheduled for thursday, just to make sure the levels are rising. I have no idea what’s going on with my body right now! On one hand, if I’m pregnant I shouldn’t be bleeding, but on the other hand if I was going to miscarry, I don’t think the bleeding would have stopped. I thought the waiting would be over this morning, but now it’s even worse. To be sooooooo close…. Thanks for all the well wishes and the emails! It helps!! Kim

Well, I took your advice and did an EPT on Monday. It took it about 5 minutes, but it came up positive. I did another one this morning, and it came up with two WONDERFUL blue lines as well. I’m leaving in just a bit to go have some blood drawn for the "official" test. What a ride! From having had such bad news given at the transfer and being so depressed, to getting two positives and being SOOOO elated. I hope this is not just another false promise… Kim

I used Crinone for several cycles. Sometimes AF was late and sometimes on schedule. The times it was late I believe they told me AF would start 3-5 days after stopping the Crinone. This last time when I finally got Pg after 5 failed IVFs, I had no symptoms and was sure it didn’t work just like all the other cycles. I did an EPT on day 14 and day 16, they were both positive. I even had slight spotting on day 16. Everyone is different. Take the EPT and see what it says. Good luck to you. Hope it is positive. My embryos weren’t the best either. Chris 8yrs ttc several failed IUIs 7 IVF retrievals 5 failed IVF transfers 1 successful FET 25w2d Pg – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Ok, I’m starting to go crazy. I had my IVF transfer on the 25th, so I’m just about done with my two week wait. I’m supposed to have a blood test on monday, but with it being Labor Day, the lab I use will be closed and I’ll have to wait another day. They told us at the time of the transfer that the embryos they put back in weren’t the highest of quality, so I didn’t figure we had about a 0.0% chance of this working. My DH has made me keep taking the Crinone, "just in case". Here’s my question(s). I thought my AF would have come by now, if the IVF had failed, since it did in every other failed IVF cycle we did. It’s possible, I think, that the Crinone would postpone the period, right? Now I’m starting to have some "weird" feelings, but don’t know if I should attribute them to being pregnant (fingers still crossed) or from the Crinone. If anyone has been on Crinone before, could you please share with me what side effects you experienced? Better yet, if anyone has had an IVF cycle with Crinone and it worked (bless you!), could you tell me what symptoms you experienced. I know everyone’s different, and you can’t really compare, BUT, I’d still welcome the info… Thanks, and best of luck to all of you! Kim

Hi Kim, When I went through my IVF I used Crinone and yes it does give you pregnancy like symptoms. My best advice to you is to take an ept, they are quite accurate. I took one on 11dpt and it came out positive right away and I’m currently pregnant with twins!! I wish I could give you more advice on this, but unfortunately the Crinone mimicks pregnancy. One symptom I can give you is I had weird cramps from the 2nd day of transfer and I still get them today. I felt kind of like AF was on the way, but the cramps would come and go. Hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck!!! Sincerely, Diana

Most definately. If anyone has been on Crinone before, could you please share with me what side effects you experienced?
Menstrual-like cramping, drowsy/tired a lot, very sore nipples (you asked)
