Side effects from glucophage
Question:
Just how long do the nasty side effects of glucophage last? In the long run, is it worth it? I’ve only been on it for 5 days and so far, i do not like it… i still have to increase the dosage on Wednesday to 1000mg a day (Currently taking 500mg) and increase it again next week to 1500mg. Low carbing and exercise is making me feel a little better – but do they continue? HELP!!!! Ev TTC 4 years 2 failed IVF insulin resistant (no pcos yet)
Response:
had mild nausea and bloating, as well as ovarian cramping. Hang in there…it works! I started ovulating 2 months after I was on it….it is worth it to stick it out with the side effects. Take care shelley
Response:
Are you taking it with food? DH was on it and when he started, the side effects were pretty bad, but he changed how he was taking it and after a few more days, the side effects went away. Hope you feel better! Marie – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Just how long do the nasty side effects of glucophage last? In the long run, is it worth it?
