Stacking?

Question:

there are several major aspirin companies who make low-dosage aspirin. I have Bayer orange-chewable (also comes in cherry!) low-dosage aspirin. according to the back, it’s for children or adults on a prescribed aspirin dosage.

Is the cherry as yummy as the orange? — dc potts biologist at large (pull the nospam out of my email address to respond)

actually, the only problem with giving aspirin to babies/children is when they’re running a fever. Then it can cause Rye Syndrome. But, otherwise it’s fine to give it to them. A dermatologist recommended that I give it to my daughter when her eczema is acting up and the itching gets real bad. (FYI–tried it twice, didn’t help, she still scratched all night!) adp

My "baby" aspirin is labeled adult low strength enteric aspirin..from Goldline..I asked my pharmacist and she found it behind the counter…less expensive than the other brands.. very nicely coated…… 312-283-160 Just Me,  Lisa. Are there any studies from peer-reviewed journals about the effectiveness of the E/C/A stack – yohimbe combination?

I don’t know. But http://www.healthgate.com has a medline feature. J — Tonight we’re going to party like it’s 1899. Remove the X to email me.

Okay, here’s the deal.  You pop 25mg of ephedrine, 100-200mg of caffeine, and a baby aspirin. Can you still buy baby aspirin — since giving babies aspirin has been a no-no for several years? — Truly Donovan reply to truly at lunemere dot com

I think "baby aspirin" refers to children’s aspirin : Wummin~ Visit my homepage:  http://www.geocities.com/~wummin

Not that I know of.  I’d check one of the weight lifting groups or bulletin boards, the lifters are really into the thermogenic thing and most are far more intelligent than they look :) — dc potts biologist at large (pull the nospam out of my email address to respond)

– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – What is all this stacking I’ve been reading about?  I haven’t a clue! Help! Okay, here’s the deal.  You pop 25mg of ephedrine, 100-200mg of caffeine, and a baby aspirin.  It jacks up your body temp, so you burn a few more calories than you normally would.  The aspirin component is being/has been debated. Of course one shouldnt discount the fact that you have a couple sympathomimetic drugs kicking around in your system, so you don’t eat as much.  Yohimbine HCl is also added to the E/C/A stack by some folks, but it makes some people sick.

Of course, there is this veterinary drug for asthmatic farm animals called clenbuterol that does the same thing, but more efficiently.  The downside is that it’s not produced in the U.S.  The upside is that it’s not a difficult thing to get past customs.  Oh yeah, there is also this stuff called DNP which can tweak your body temp and metabolism by interfering with ATP mechanisms.  It can jump the metabolism up to 50%.  It can also kill you if you miscalculate the dosage. The lesson?  Stick with E/C/A unless you have a good laboratory scale, knowledge of physiology/biochem, and a nasty self-destructive streak. — dc potts biologist at large (pull the nospam out of my email address to respond)
