vent(children ment/not mine/wanna scream)
Question:
My dh has a 7 year old son, and he asked us today how come we don’t have a baby. I tried to explain the bet I could, then his mother gets on the phone and tells me to stop trying so hard to just forget about it and it will happen. Where does she get off she has 2 children and she had a m/c in Nov. which she responds to as a relief she didn’t want the baby. I wanted to jump through the phone and strangle her. I don’t know why people who nothing about if try to give us advise, it is not only annoying, but unwelcome advise. Thank you everyone for welcoming me to the group and for being here to vent

Yes, I agree. Shock therapy works really well for me. I say things like, "I dont think you understand……my reproductive parts do not work. If I had cancer, would you tell me to forget about it, and just relax?" I hope this does not offend anyone here. I am certainly not making light of cancer. This is just my way of letting the fertile world know how rediculous they sound. Michelle

I dunno, I’m usually pretty B****y about comments like that and respond with comments like, "Yes, oh, fertile one." I just get very annoyed by people who make comments like that.
