Hi Shobey, I’m curious, you said you found a clinic that cost only 3,500 for ivf?  Where is this?  I was quoted at 10,000.  Does this RE have a good reputation?  Just Curious, I’m from PA.                                                Jina

Hello all.  Well, the good news is that I went to RE yesterday for my post-af scan and had no more cysts!!  So, we start Gonal-F injections again on Sat. The bad news is that we are hurting for the money to pay for it.  We will make it work somehow…  So, RE sat me down and said "Amber, we have to get you pregnant"…no kidding!?  And here I thought that is what the goal was all along.  He said that my last cycle was perfect…great response to meds, good follicles, blood levels were fine…I just didn’t concieve.  Doesn’t sound too perfect to me!  Anyway, he said that he will begin progesterone suppositories next cycle after IUI just to be safe…also said that my chances are still good because everything is going smoothly.  But then came the bomb…he said that after 2 more cycles (I’ve done 2 cycles with Gonal-F, HCG, IUI), if they are not successful, they probably never will be.  He said we would then have to start talking about IVF.  I told him that is all we could do…talk…because we cannot affort IVF right now.  AAAAAAAAAAH!  I feel soooo pressured!!  2 more shots at this and my chances are gone!  I don’t know how to keep my mind off of this to relax.  I know I have to relax for this next cycle.  I just feel like my head will explode when I think about all of this.  I’m sorry to go on and on…I just needed to get it all out.  I hope the quest for this dream is going better for all of you…  Fertile thoughts to all. Amber,  At least there is no more cyst. This time is sounds like everything is in place.  It should work for you.  I am sending you a lot of positive thoughts

Whoa…whoa…you are jumping way ahead! One step at a time remember.  It is generally accepted that if IUI is going to work, it will in four attempts.  As for affording IVF… Wait… Put that out of your mind.  Just take one step at a time.  What is your age? You may take a break, work a second job, save up for 6 months… get insurance coverage… find a clinic that is cheaper (I found one that is $3500, half the price of most clinics) My point is don’t worry for tommorrow, for today has sufficient things in it! Shobey Faithful anyway IF X 7yrs , 3 failed clomids 4 neg IUI’s , 3 surgeries Treatment with Lupron Depot Awaiting IVF
